The Ricoh and Global Vision Multimedia partnership negotiation is entering a decisive stage as both companies intensify talks to build a long-term strategic alliance in the Asia-Pacific region. Since January 2026, when full-scale discussions began, the collaboration has been positioned as a major step toward strengthening workplace services for customers across one of the world’s fastest-growing markets.
Ricoh aims to expand its workplace services capabilities in APAC, while Global Vision Multimedia (GVM) seeks to widen its reach by leveraging Ricoh’s global scale. COO HP Lee added that past collaboration with Ricoh has already demonstrated how well the two companies work together. He explained that GVM aims to maintain its high-touch customer experience while gaining the advantage of Ricoh’s digital services infrastructure. He also noted that potential capital ties could deepen the Ricoh partnership even further.
From Ricoh’s regional leadership, the message is clear. Managing Director Keiichiro Uesugi said customers across Asia-Pacific want solutions that combine consistent delivery with strong local execution. He emphasized that earlier work with GVM proved this balance is possible, and the next phase of talks aims to strengthen how both companies operate together. He added that the goal is to support customers as they innovate, grow, and succeed in a market known for rapid change.
